I am Nick (Wick) Thomas' sister in law and I am proud of what he has done to help end discrimination.
I teach first grade and am taking classes at UMKC on culturally responsive teaching, and guess what-we are talking about some LGBT issues!
Things are getting better, we just have to continue to be vigilant. (I hope that I spelled that right.)

Read the threads and posts, meet some people and make some friends, tell us about yourself, and say something outrageous occasionally. :agree:
Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

Rhianna,
Hi, nice to meet you! Should I be familiar with the name Nick Thomas? I don't know who that is.
So what course are you in at UMKC that talks about LGBT issues? Wha'cha readin'? Anything particularly good to recommend?
