Via the above link, you'll find a BBC article on the (sad) state of the gay community in Ghana as this West African country celebrates 50 years of independence.
It ain't just Nigeria, folks.

Right. Sounds very familiar.
Some of the worst reports I've heard in recent years (imprisonment and torture) were from Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Pray for the folks dealing with this in those places, ya'll. :pray:

Thanks for sharing that article, David. Gay America often think how good our counterparts in Canada have it with legal recognition of our marriages, but then we sometimes forget about our brothers and sisters in very hostile countries and their struggle to merely come out.
