I met the 2007 equality riders at baylor university in waco, tx. I'm a second year seminary student at truett. married, 10 month old son. i posted a couple items on my blog (myfourwalls.net (http://myfourwalls.net)). search soulforce if they've disappeared. i just want to say thanks for coming and you guys were a big blessing to me and to our community.

I have to tell you, in order to be honest (Andy lowers his head in shame and contrition) that from your screen name I had you pegged for someone who was going to vehemently object to the E-Riders presence.

I am so sorry to have judged your intent by a name - where have I heard that before? Welcome. Nice blog, BTW.

Whatever your purpose for being here, I would have welcomed your presence. Dialogue is good. A faithful, reflective, presence, however, is even better. God bless you for your openness and your support of E-Riders.

If you post something else, I'll see if I can misjudge your intent and let my own preconceptions take over - why not, I seem to have been doing that a good bit of late. :D Seriously, I look forward to reading your thoughts.

hehehe how ironic that my sn got that reaction. the reason i named my blog that originally was to emphasize the need for us to recognize what our own walls are so we can move beyond them. i definitely understand your initial reaction though. i'm sure you begin to expect it after a while. i'm super busy with school, a wife and a 10-month old son, but i hope to loiter here and learn a lot from the discussion. much love!

I had a different reaction your screen name. I thought you might be an actor. In acting, there is somethng called the 'fourth wall', meaning the one facing the audience. Actors take about breaking through the fourth wall.
