Soo---I just have a question---I was looking over all the sites that the riders are visiting and I was wondering as to why Pensecola wasn't going to be visited?

Good question...although one I personally can't answer. Perhaps that school just wasn't on the list for consideration. Perhaps they planned to visit another school in the area...just some thoughts.

ok, I was just wondering...SoulForce is visiting my school soon.... I am personally excited to see how it goes, and I'm hoping it doesn't end up badly. I know the administration is trying to make sure that things go smoothly and most students want it to go smoothly as well---I'm just worried about how the community surrounding will react or/and if anyone (student-wise) will actually do something stupid....

I don't actually know... but it could be for many reasons...

First of all, I wouldn't know because I'm not really sure which school that actually is...

But one reason that certain schools are choosen is because they actually get personnal letters from students at specific schools... people kind of saying how oppressed they feel etc. and I think a lot of those schools get visited....

But also the really big reason I think is just flat out that they can only handle so many... last year they only had the one bus, and since that went really well, this year they doubled it and did an east bus route and a west bus route...

But for more of an answer we would really have to ask someone else... if you're still looking for more of an anwser I can try and find someone to answer it for you...

 WELCOME! Glad to have you here! Hope you stick around, we've got a great group of people here!

People who do something stupid will not necessarily derail meaningful dialogue and a smooth engagement, so long as all other parties involved are willing to call it was it is. Just look forward to a meaningful gathering, and be ready to label poor behavior when it happens.

I pray you have deep, intimate time listening and talking heart-to-heart.

Very true. My desire is to see that we can best represent Christ through-out the entire experience and that each party is heard. Now whether or not that brings about change, and I am pretty sure my school is not going to, doesn't matter, in my personal opinion. As long as the voices are heard, people are treated like human beings and discussions can happen.
Thats all.....

I think it is good that you are not focused on the result of change in school policy. That probably won't happen. But you will be the change that can set things in motion for years to come.

Good luck and I hope everything goes peacefully.
