Hullo, my'names cozy, and I created this account along with my best friend Melanie in order to stay updated on upcoming protests/rides/etc. We're mostly just here because we want to be active in supporting acceptance and help get people to love eachother (my words, not hers. I'm the hippie here ^^) Anyway, we'd love to know of upcoming protests and other activities within our range (colorado) so if anyone knows of any, plaese let us know. thanks!

I live in Minneapolis, so I have no idea what's happening in Colorado, But you can post, and ask questions. Isn't there a gay organization of some kind in Colorado? Except for the Equality Ride, I don't know that Soulforce is engaged in much activism.

I just wanted to say a real "hello" I posted on a thread of yours earlier but had never actually given you a welcome.

It is good to welcome another person from Colorado. I live down in the southwest part of the state.

You said you were the "hippie" of the group. When I was a kid, "hippy" was a bad word. (I was in a very traditional family.) Now I have sort of become a middle aged hippie. I wonder how that happens?

Glad that you can join us here at the forums. I have always known I am a hippie at heart, love and peace all the way. Did you ever see the movie "Hair"? I remember watching it countless times as a kid, and saw it last night for the first time in twenty or more years, and wow, I still fully enjoy it. Don't know what is going on in your area of the country, but myself and another SF'er Mia are creating an action/awareness group of our own here in NEPA. No luck getting much local LGBTQ support yet, but we are not giving up!! Peace out, Vanessa :love:
