I am a nondenominational reverend from West Central Wisconsin who recently found Soulforce.
In the short time I have had to search through this site I have found it to be an excellent source of information and inspiration to aid me in reaching out to others to promote equal rights and equal freedoms for all.
That may sound a little corny, but I do live in a farming community.
Open hearts, open minds, open arms.

...a little corny...farming community...
Anyone who can make puns like that off the cuff is pretty neat in my book. :D
Welcome!

For the kind words and welcome.
I know I'll be learning from all of you and, hopefully, have something to contribute.
I'll put the coffee on.

A sense of humor, too. I think I'm gonna like having you here. By the way, you don't happen to have English Breakfast tea, do you.
I live in the northeast Iowa farm belt, and I can really, really appreciate your efforts. Blessings to you, Andy.

Freethinkingrev,
Glad to have you here. It is great to meet Christian people who are open and accepting. Please tell us more about yourself and what your views are on things.
I have traveled over most of the midwest, but Wisconsin is one of the few states in the midwest I have not been to. I've been in Minneapolis and in Chicago, but just never quite into Wisconsin.
Welcome.
Tu Amigo, Pablo

Sorry, Andrew, no English Breadfast tea. But I do have some samples from the Caffeine Free Lipton Herbal Collection. Due to my Norwegian heritage and growing up in a Lutheran environment I am bound by genetics and tradition to consume copious amounts of black coffee.
Pablo, if you get the opportunity to visit Wisconsin I'm sure you will find it quite pleasing. I was born and raised here and during my many years I still haven't experienced all of its subtle beauty.
I do not count myself among the Christians but prefer to think of myself as a Gnostic. I am still seeking the Truth. I am an ordained minister, sans congregation, who believes in the sanctity of the individual's right to seek their own path to enlightenment. If it brings peace to your heart, ease to your mind and contentment to your spirit; if it makes you want and try to be a better person in the here and now, I support you, I applaud you and I will open my door to you and welcome you with open arms.
For a time I led a life of decadence, debauchery and general unruliness but have been clean and sober going on 13 years. The trick is not to become self-righteous in my cleanliness. I do admit that, at times, I can get somewhat vitriolic when airing my particular points of view but I am striving to soften my militant stance and will graciously apologize if and when I cause offense.
Anything else you would like to know, just ask. I am an open book, dog-eared and worn, but still accessible.
P.S. God Bless You, Mr. Vonnegut. R.I.P.
And so it goes.
