OMG! This past Friday, my wife and I went to see Wicked at the theatre here in Houston with 5 queens (one of them practically had an orgasm he was so excited about this show). SIMPLY PUT, IT WAS MAGNIFICENT! If you get a chance to go see it, it will be well worth the money. Gay men were all over the place and the show was just great! Anybody seen it anywhere else? Just curious! It really was fun and beautifully acted and the singers were better than what Simon Cowell calls cabaret singing!
They were FABULOUS! (as one my favorite queens said):rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

I saw WICKED in Chicago last fall. It was amazing! The songs were incredible and so were the actresses. I loved the storyline of the unexpected. It reminded me that when life doesn't turn out exactly how I thought it would, things will be alright. When I'm not so poor (hopefully after college), I'll go see it in New York!

For Good is absolutely one of my favorite songs. Absolutely. Followed up by I'M Not That Girl (& Reprise) then by Popular.

"I know. I know. I know exactly what they need."

I've seen it in New York, Orange County (twice) and LA (once, but I've got tickets to see it again) and I plan on seeing it in New York when I go again this summer. I don't like it. Really... not at all... ;)

Defying Gravity has made me cry everytime, but my all time favorite is the one song not on the sound track, entitled "Nessa's Lament." It's the one where she is yelling at Elphaba and singing about how "all of my (her) life I've (she's) been stuck in this chair..." its amazing. I love it.
