Steve- I see you moved your post, which I saw earlier today, to a blog. I was in haste at the time, so could not respond.

Not having children I don't think I can quite understand the fullness that is in your heart at this moment. The closest I can get to it is in my teaching: I have a student who is auditioning for a Master's of Music degree tomorrow. I'm proud of him. He's worked really hard. And God knows I've worked hard to give him the tools so he can make something of himself.

It's great to see someone we care about start to fly with their wings. Pretty amazing stuff actually. Your son's high notes are your high notes.

You are both blessed.
