actually, I go by several. Online I always go by Brenna. I found out about soul force a few years ago. My (then) partner and I were asked to leave the church I was a member of, and a friend of ours got us in touch with soul force. There was a huge out pouring of love and support from our community. At the time, I was asked that if i wanted to be a part of this team, then I would need to be true to the idea of nonviolence, which would include in my heart. I wasn't ready to lay down my anger and couldn't make that commitment, until now. So here I am, ready to join this community, and hopefully, make a difference.

Howdy Brenna! Welcome. :)
Austin, huh? So many Soulforcers are in Austin - best part of Texas, I'm sure. I lived in Houston for 7 years, and liked it a lot there, but I did run into a lot of virulent homophobia. That seems to be a Texas thing.
Glad you decided to join us online. So, if you met Soulforcers locally, does that mean you've met wonderful souls like our Nathan Black, in person?

C'mon, hang around, meet the folks. I see you've already met Allyson and Zerbie. Find a thread that catches your fancy, and tell us your thoughts.
Peace and Love, Bruce Chris

Brenna- Welcome to the SF forum. I hear you loud and clear about making a commitment to nonviolence. I find that I have to renew that commitment pretty often. Life has a funny way of bringing up 'stuff' that challenges it.
I hope you will feell comfortable enough to jump in and make your presence known in the conversations.
