Welcome, hobo. There are a few Baptists around here and also on the Equality Ride. You should know that there are Baptist groups that affirm gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people as part of God's good creation, who understand our existence as God's love of variety, who join us in our struggle for equality. The Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America and the Alliance of Baptists are two such groups. You might be interested in a book they put out called Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth: a resource for congregations in dialogue on sexual orientation. Good stuff.

Hobo- Welcome to Soulforce. I'm glad you found us.
It sounds like you are in a very confining place right now. Many of us have been there and know what you are talking about.
Keep your hope of being out: that day will come!
I send you peace.
