So, for my US history class a friend and I are doing a research paper on UFO's and alien abductions and how "ET Culture" has shaped America. So, a question:

According to my mother, in 1967 outside Durta's Pharmacy in Truro Mass, a man was abducted. It's a famous case. Honestly, I don't know if I believe all this about aliens and abductions, but my mom says it's too "good to pass reading." She says that it's one of the more believable abduction stories. So, I've searched all over the internet for an account of the abduction, but I can't find one.

If anyone has and information about the Durta's Pharmacy case please pass it on to me. Any help is appreciated. Also, any other information about other cases you may have heard of I would love to read.

Thanks in advance,
-Tink

I have NO idea.

But perhaps you might be able to get some sources recommended if you contact the alien UFO museum in Roswell New Mexico??!! I can't remember the exact name of the museum, but I've been there and know they have a gift shop. Perhaps if you look them up, make a phone call, and if they aren't too busy with customers, maybe they can recommend some books or websites that you might check out.

Worth a shot, anyway.

You're right, it's a strange question. But hey, given the other crazy conversations we've had, this one fits right in.

Try searching at project blue book. http://bluebookarchive.org/default.aspx There are literally hundreds of pages about the siting. It's mostly boring reports trying to rule out obvious explanations for the siting. However, there is also some fascinating stuff that makes you scratch your head.
