new to Soulforce

Hi! My name is Cherie and I am so happy to know about this organization of loving people who insist on the right to be affirmed and treated with equal regard, everywhere.

I am married, and have 7 children and 4 step children. Two of my daughters are gay and I find myself in the position of defending what I have always known to be true, that Divine Love is all inclusive and peace is for everyone. Unfortunately I have been fairly typical about sexual orientation and religion, which is to say I have silently accepted the "sin" teaching even though it never felt right or real to me. No longer am I willing to lie publicly or privately. I love my daughters and am very proud of them. I look forward to learning more........Peace out

You have the essentials right. You love your babies. And you know that God loves them too. :love:

That said, you happened to stumble in here during a heated time. It's spring, and the Equality Ride has been going on. That means some folks who oppose Soulforce have found the forum recently too, so there are some arguments going on. Don't let it put you off - you'll find the regular members here are incredibly caring wonderful people.
