Has anyone seen this poster? It pictures Jesus as being wanted for being guilty of hate crimes for speaking against homosexuality.

I don't know why but it shocks me that they would out right lie. Isn't one of the traditional values something about not bearing false witness?:rolleyes: :mad: I'm so mad I could spit!

You could also substitute supremacist-idolatry with hypocrisy, or vanity. Pretty much any sin that ends in the letter Y that can be attributed to supremacist/unrepentant idolaters will work..

actually, I think Jesus spoke of homosexuality in a good way. I think he thought it was a blessing from God. I believe this can be seen in Matthew 19 (or maybe 18) and Matthew 8 (I think). He says that Gays are basically born that way and it is a blessing from God, and he blesses a Gay couple. At least to speak anachronistically.

What amazes me (in addition to the incomprehensible audacity of these groups to lie over and over) is that their rhetoric is actually influencing Congress, and the media.

These are hate groups. Plain and simple. OF COURSE they oppose the hate crimes bill.

Their take on the statistics shows they simply do not want violent crimes investigated or prosecuted. Gee, a whole third of what was reported was "intimidation" or threats. Oh so, ONLY 800 or so actual VIOLENT crimes were committed. Translation: Let's just let approx. 800 fags a year get murdered or beat up, because we don't like them.

These people have a serious dose of karma coming some day, and I hope not to be around to see it when that arrives. The ugliness is incomprehensible.

Gee, only 800? That's not much...statistically speaking. :rolleyes: :eek: It becomes a different story when it's their gay son or daughter that got beat up or killed. You just know that many of them have closeted sons and daughters.
