I'm hosting a graduation party for my son; playing 2 or 3 weddings; taking my kids on vacation to the beach; going to church camp to be a counselor; taking another beach vacation with my partner; attending various picnics, parties, and fireworks displays as the occasions arise!

FUN FUN FUN!

So far the plans here are... a party with a bunch of friends once school's out, working on the house (more than likely), and Hawaii the last week of August!! :weee:

Alright, who's up next?

Jennifer5...you're the cutest!

Mostly this summer, I plan to be dodging the many hurricanes that are forecast (and we soooo know they're coming after last year's extremely quiet season) to slam our pretty peninsula.

I will have one biggish trip. My now far-flung family returns to Maine every July to the summer cottage my grandmother bought when my mother was an infant. [Insert wisecracking age joke here.] A new harvest of nephews and 1st cousins-once-removed have heralded the 4th generation to experience and enjoy the middle-of-nowhere sights, smells and sounds. It truly fortifies us to face the other 51 weeks "out of state".

:)

That sounds idyllic! Can I come? I could be your nephew! (boyfriend, accountant... whatever works)

David, just why wasn't I invited to this family reunion in Maine?

You're ashamed of me aren't you?
I know Jennifer is cuter than I am.
And Dave is taller and smarter.
Dash is younger and more charming.

But that's OK; I'll just stay here at home (sniff, sniff) all alone, by myself.

Tu (crushed) Amigo, Pablo

P.S. I didn't want to go anyway. :'(

Sounds like all the fun's going to be in Maine!

I'll spend a week, using my parents place as a base in Somerset, and have day's out with my son, after his camp. (Drama thingie).
Daughter's got to the age when Dad's boring, so hope I'll get some time with her (apart from as a Taxi driver!).
Hope to have a weekend away at a country/seaside B&B, by myself (a complete break) and see what come up. But that will depend on our old cat's health.

no hard and fast plans yet though:D

Camping! Just came from 5 days of camping. Nothing like that first warm clean shower when you get home!!

Ummm....lots of work trips, Sacramento Monarchs games, a couple graduations, 10 days in Reno (our regional championship horse show, I'm showing after 3 years away!!), housework, yardwork, floating in my little 6ft by 2.5 ft pool (float and dream I'm in the ocean or a bigger pool) while the hummingbirds spirt about and feed in the feeder next to the pool, lots of horse riding, biking, walking dogs, perhaps some birding.

It's a crazy busy summer! Oh, and of course Pride Sacramento and perhaps, just a slight chance I'll make it to Pride SF! :rainbow::aparty::weee:

(I wanna go to Maine AND Hawaii!!!)
