My name is Lucille or Rev. Lou I live in Florida, moved here from Ct. about 2and a half years ago. Leave it to me to leave a State that we could have a civil union, to a State where we have very few rights if any. I was ordained on line, and I am having a hard time getting anywhere, even my Pastor would not recognize it. Right now I am preparing for major back surgery, this will be my sixth one hopefully this Doctor can finally fix it for me. Please pray that it works this time, at least ease the pain. I have always had the desire to serve the Lord, and some day He will direct me to the right path in life. After I fully recover I am going to take courses on line at (Trinity Theological Seminary) to get my Masters degree in Ministry. Well I think this is all for now, take care and God Bless. Love and friendship, Rev. Lou

Hello Rev. Lou,
I wanted to touch base with you. I wish you lots of luck with your schooling. Did you start this path alone or did you have sponsership from any denomination. I'm sorry that your Ordaination is not being recognized by your Pastor.
As for moving from easy access civil unions to a state with less, You have to go where the "Work" is. I work nights, that is where my chosen "Work" is.
I will add you to my prayers for your back surgery. I hope you have success through it, and a speedy recovery. Drop me a line sometime.
Hugs,
Angel

Welcome, Rev. Lou. I posted a message on your MYSpace. I hope you got it. You have some very interesting ideas. I am familiar with the Gulf Coast, having lived in Texas City for 14 years. My wife is from LaMarque. I will tell you that story later. AHEM!!!

Anyway, welcome and enjoy soulforce. We are a bunch of GLBT people, who love to talk and banter back and forth. Keltic is one of my favorites, and Zerbie, Vanessa White, Scott, Jamie McDaniel (who is on his honeymoon, just got married to his sweetie in Toronto), and lots of others.

Nice of you to join us, hope you enjoy.:)

The online ordinations really can be tricky(seeing that some are just a joke, while other's really are something)... I wish you luck with all of that!

:pray:Hope that all goes well with the back surgery! Keep us posted, we're all here for you.
