I am Gay.

I am Gay.
My created being.
My soul.

God created me.
In God’s Image.
In the Imago Dei.

The Image of God.
The birth mark And birth right
Of every Human Being,
Marks me as God’s child.

“I am who I am by the Grace of God
And God’s Grace has not been in vain.” Paul

Lo, I am with you always.

I am with you.
When they say “You are not my child.”
When they exclude you from your family,
I am with you.

Know that All human Beings
Are my sacred and beloved children.
Not one is excluded from my family.

I created All in My Image.
The Imago Dei, My Image
Is the birth mark and birth right
Of every Human Being.
The Image of God marks All.
No, not one is excluded from my family.

Welcome home, my child.
I have never left you.
I have never forsaken you.
Harken not to the false witnesses.

Welcome home to all my compassionate love.
I am with you always.

My family told me I was not a Child of god 11 years ago this 7 July. I have not seen my only child, Karey Ann since then, I now have a grandchild since around 12 March. I have no been called to tell me of the pregnancy, birth, boy or girl - name. They did not inform me of my mother's death nor "invite" me to my mother's funeral. I am going to the Ex-Gay Conference for support. Pray for my healing from immense grief. And that God will soften the hardened hearts of my Catholic family. Thank y'all.God bless and be with you.[/B]

My heart and thoughts go out to you. I feel like I need to give you a great big hug. I will most certainly pray for you. Wow, it is real hard when the people you think should love you and accept you the most are so hurtful. Nerve forget them or give up praying for them, but realize that there are other people who do care and love you just the way you are and most of all Jesus thinks your terrific. I hope and pray you get something out of being in this forum. I know I have and it is the proof that God does except and loves His little rainbows. I have read such beautiful heart felt love for God and the people with in this forum. Wow, God at work in an forum; how about that. Our own little UN,but now call it is The UP; The United People.

I pray for your healing from grief.
I am so sorry to hear of your estrangement from your family.

My own family did that to my mother's cousin. It was 35 years before anyone from the family contacted him again. Once someone did, some of the chasm was crossed, at least partway. With time, anything is possible. And don't worry about there being enough time - it could happen the very next moment, tomorrow, or 10 years from now, but relationships can heal if everyone is willing to try hard. Whatever happens with your family, God is always with you, always loving you and holding you, every moment. With that, you have the most important thing of all.

Welcome to a wonderful place. I hope you find peace. :dove:

Welcome De Villarrubia from San Antonio.

Thank you for your poem, it is beautiful.

:pray:My prayers are with you, for the loss of your family in life, and being unable to say good-bye in death.

11 years is a long time, from what you have said, you still have much love for them and longing to be with them, and share their ups and downs.

Keep close to God and He will keep close to you.
May He build the bridges that are needed, and pour His healing balm on you and your family.

love and hugs

Welcome!

I'm sorry to hear that you have to deal with these family struggles...:'(

You're loved and I hope you know that. If you were close with your family, they have not forgotten you. I assure you that when the little baby was born, your daughter thought of you (and many other occasions I'm sure).

There is always hope. Don't give-up hope.
