to make you feel proud?
ok, this isn't a thread about the song PROUD by Heather Smalls.....
I feel like I've got a lot done this morning, and I thought I'd ask you if you're feeling the same way!
I got up early,
picked up my youngest son,
got 2 new tires,
went for a walk on the trail with my kid,
watered all the flowers with miracle-gro,
cut some lettuce for my lunch salad,
lifted weights (watch out Pablo and AndEEEE),
ran on the elliptical,
and even did some laundry!
how about you? getting things done?
Jeeez, Keltic...type A much??
 j/k
I got outta bed and came to work
I made someone smile
...
Whew! I'm ready to go back to bed! :D

I ate breakfast went to the Gym and worked out and did my cardio, went to the post office, ate lunch, wrote an encouraging post to a new Soulforce participant and cracked the whip in order to get my sons out to clean the garage (whats the use of having dwarves if you can't exploit them?) Now I am going out to supervise their work!

I THOUGHT about exercising (I really need to resume soon).
I did some meditation.
I walked the dog.
I had great conversation with my kid.
I had a productive morning at work.
I accepted a new student for our program.
I left an I love you message for my sweetheart.
I emailed a friend.
I got EXTREMELY excited about NYC pride this weekend.
And, in keeping with my corny old self, I feel a complete sense of balance, ease, contentment, all is right with my life today. I feel completely blessed.:love::love::love::love::love:
Good thoughts going your way all day, dancer. Congrats on your graduation!!!!! Enjoy every moment......

My day is not near as exciting as yours.
Let's see, I:
Got up - a good thing at my age
Packed several more boxes
Put together the disk packs for moving breakables
Got Jenna mad at me for wanting to throw away some old crappe
Salvaged some of my invaluable keepsakes from the trash after Jenna threw them away
Made the final storage arrangements for our worldly goods in Ohio
Communicated the address of the storage facility to the moving company
Answered 3 more emails from the moving company about the change of address for the drop-off
Ordered refills on Rx's for Jenna and me
Called the doctor to get new prescriptions for the next three months
Continued to insult StevE
Put together the 45 book boxes we need to move our library
Took the recycling to the recycling center
Took a p... well, never mind that
Took down my air filter in the woodshop

I love how you start with laundry, breakfast, getting dressed, etc.
Wish I could be there!!!! I know it'll be great, because even if graduating itself wasn't enough... I'm sure the gifts and the parties all make the last millionish years worth it!
Now, nothing seems interesting next to graduating...
but this morning we went for coffee(because after all very few places can make good coffee)and then to breakfast,
then to get hiking boots because aparently we'll be hiking a lot this summer,
then we went to get some things at the store and ran into an old teacher ad talked to him,
then I wasted and continue to waste a few hours on the computer,
later my sister and I will put the second layer of paint on the wall,
paint the other wall,
clean the upstairs,
and waste more time while my mom has to go the real work that brings in the money...
so yea... pretty much boring... I'd much rather there to see Austin graduate

Keltic, I would LOVE to meet you someday. You sound like someone I think I would really enjoy knowing. I like you already, and all I know about you is from what you post, but you sound like and seem like a really interesting and funny person with a sweet spirit and a wonderful sense of humor and not to mention you have my vote for Father of the Year.
I love the song, "Proud". In fact, I put that on a big roll of paper in rainbow colors and put it up on my wall above the whiteboard in my classroom, and the first day of school, I asked my incoming 6th graders-What have you done today to make you feel proud?
Anyway, it sounds like everyone is very busy including myself. My wife and I have decided to put our house up for sale and move to Livingston where we have a mobile home on Lake Livingston. So...I have been busy getting each room ready and watching, "Sell This House" to get ideas. Today I cleaned out my daughter's closet. She went in, closed the door, as a joke, and when she came out, I said, "I was wondering when you were going to come out of the closet." She said, "Gee Mom, does everything have to be gay?" and I said, "The world would be so much better if it was!!!" :rainbow::rainbow:

Nothing exceptional but here goes:
Got outta bed (a major accomplishment this morning)
Drove my sweetie to the train
Had extra time to sit and eat breakfast (usually just a downed shake) before
Attending training all day - leadership/team building, where...
Made a joke and got the entire class to laugh, then
Got home and saved the household - smelled gas, found a burner on low with no flame, shut it off and then opened doors/windows and turned on fans just before I...
Got on the computer, but...
Cracked a good one in training:
Teacher: Ok, Susie, it's time for you to demonstrate the ASSERTIVE method of addressing employees
Susie: walks shyly toward teacher, giggling
me: hey, that's a good start
Class: erupts in 5 seconds of laughter
Me: proud
that's it so far!
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR GRADUATION AUSTIN!!! WELL DONE! HAVE FUN TONIGHT, BE SAFE!!

returned home, had lunch, shot hoops for about half an hour and took the dog for a walk... now I'm just chillin' w/the cat...
Life is good...

Plans always seem to be a bad idea.... we did paint the second coat of paint on the first wall, but never got around to the second and we cleaned the upstairs...
then my mom brought work home (she's a nanny, so she brought the kids home), and we all went to the park and then she made dinner while we all danced and/or colored... and tomorrow is the zoo with about 15 soon-to-be first graders and there moms, it's going to be insane and very tiring but fun :inspector:
