Hi, guys!
I stumbled upon this sight after viewing a t-shirt with a Soulforce logo on it. After spending nearly an hour browsing, I've fallen in love with the cause. Still in high school, true, but like many people I struggle self-hatred for my religious beliefs and sexuality. I've been hating myself and loving all others, and soulforce, believe it or not, has helped me see through that. I hope to stick around :)

Hi Rachel!
Welcome to Soulforce forums. we have a number of Minnesotans here (I include myself as a "Minnesotan in exile" since we lived in St. Paul for 9 years and loved it) We also have a number of highschool age people who are regular participants and valued members of our community so feel free to plunge right in. (Jenn5, Austin, Greg, Brian, others? where are you manners? we taught you better than this! step up and say "hi" to Rachel!)
Some of us are really old and feeble... do you suppose you could use a larger font when you write? Andrew! You shut up!

Of course! Sorry about that... It's a habit.
Heh, surprisingly, Minnesota isn't a bad place to be right now. I only got my first mosquito bite last week!

Yes, but that's small consolation if it was the size of a sparrow!

You must be a closet Wisconsinite. Oh, well, at least being a cheeze lover is not prohibited in anyone's Bible. I'm glad that you found us, and like us. There's plenty of uppity women here, to act as role models. Like Tdogg, and Ladyinred, and Kara Speltz, and pnggrad. And then we also have the world's oldest teenager, Zerbie. I think you two will get along great.
I am a fellow Minnesotan, a Minneapolitan, to be exact. (I've heard that's a flavor of icecream, but I'm not sure.) Check out my home church, it's a wonderful place.

And try not to bad-mouth the misquito. It's our State Bird!
Peace and much Love, Bruce Chris

Pssssst.... Hey! Let's all start using really small fonts! The older guys'll think they are going blind. It'll be fun and hilarious!!!!:D

Welcome Rachel, glad you found us! :)
If you don't mind me asking... just how old are you? 14? 15? 16? 17? 18?....
I think you'll find that this place can be... well magical :magic: almost... we're all like one big family. Although most of us have never actually met, you end up feeling like you really know each other. It's definately the best site you could ask for!
Let us know if you have any questions... we'd be glad to answer them. Otherwise... Welcome to the forums... jump on in... the water's warm!
..now, you old guys... we're going to have a lot of fun with this small font thing!! ;)

 OMG!!! What does THAT mean??!! OMG, if I'm a teenager I better go out and get some cooler clothes, and I guess I better finally learn how to use the text-messaging feature on the cell phone.:lol:
Well, a couple years ago a woman DID mistake me for a recent high school graduate. Never mind that she probably needed glasses. I grinned and giggled for DAYS.
Anyway - sorry Racheal to have ignored you for so long.
WELCOME to Soulforce! :)This is an amazing place!:D I hope you will enjoy it here. It's about as safe a place as anyone can find on the internet for asking difficult questions, and facing some really tough and complicated issues. You'll find a lot of caring people around here.
