And now from the Share the Joy Department...
Dash will join us presently, but in the meanwhile I wanted to take the time to acknowledge and honor sweet Jennifer5's delightfully youthful exuberance in another thread by confirming to my Soulforce family that sexy Mr. Silverman (a.k.a. Dash) and I are, indeed, an item.
Just one more thing to thank Dr. White for, eh? :):agree:
With the not insignificant (and quite expert) yenta-ing ministrations of our dear Daniel, the shiny surfer and I have fallen for each other with a glorious, deafening, universe-rattling thump.
It's simply impossible for me to be any happier about it.:sing:
May God bless this, our Soulforce home...and all the lovely people who dwelleth here.

You two were one of our topics of cafe conversation that day. How amazing, wonderful, exciting, and blissful for both of you!!!!!!! ds, I hope to continue to get to know you. As for my darling Dash, I could not be happier for you. You are a sensitive, loving heart, much like I am, so I know that when we are waiting, searching, and hoping for love and connection, it can feel like an ETERNITY. You both deserve this blessing from above.
Enjoy, Enjoy!!!!!!!
And, I am so glad that Daniel is such an effective Yenta(l)........ Is he being compensated for his matchmaking services?!??!
I LOVE THIS FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :love::love::love::love::love::love:

From Leaves of Grass c. 1900
We Two Boys Together Clinging
by Walt Whitman
(1819-1892)
We two boys together clinging,
One the other never leaving,
Up and down the roads going, North and South excursions making,
Power enjoying, elbows stretching, fingers clutching,
Arm'd and fearless, eating, drinking, sleeping, loving.
No law less than ourselves owning, sailing, soldiering, thieving,
threatening,
Misers, menials, priests alarming, air breathing, water drinking, on
the turf or the sea-beach dancing,
Cities wrenching, ease scorning, statutes mocking, feebleness chasing,
Fulfilling our foray.
~
And, I am so glad that Daniel is such an effective Yenta(l)........ Is he being compensated for his matchmaking services?!??!
Yes- my reward is joy.

And, that's some amazing Whitman. I have "Leaves of Grass" and I never saw this... course... I didn't like it much years ago when I first bought it, and never got very far. Got me some readin' to do.

OK, so this is just too good not to share. As many of you know, I was in Maine last week with my family (northern branch). I was heading back to Florida this past Saturday, as planned, when a delayed flight from Portland to JFK resulted in a missed connection.
Now it just so happened that our Dash was in NYC at the very same time.:D
And wouldn't ya know it...JetBlue couldn't get me out on another flight until late that night...and, better yet, they were fine with me choosing to fly out the next day instead.
You see where this is going....
So, anyhoo, an hour and a half later (the A train was running local!) I was in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. After repeated failed attempts to get through to my Dash-ing Boyfriend directly, some quick rifling through my mental rolodex (with some critical help from AT&T and our Daniel's Husband) got me through to Daniel and the location (nearby! :magic::sing:) where he and Dash were having lunch. Daniel said nothing to Dash, so I was able to walk in and surprise him.
The whole thing couldn't have worked out better, and I was absolutely thrilled.
I did fly out finally Sunday afternoon, but not before meeting and getting a chance to spend time with (and being deliciously fed by! :weee:) our beloved Yenta and his wonderful Husband...as well as, of course, spending unplanned but extremely welcome time with the BF.
It all happened in less than 24 hours, but what a day it was! I feel very blessed and very, very grateful for the gift of that day in particular as well as the gift of love, friendship and fellowship I receive everyday through our Soulforce family.

Very sweet of you. But this pic kinda alarmed me. I look very tired around the eyes. And it wasn't the company- believe me- I had a great time. The fact is that, since I've had my run-in with tinnitus, I haven't been sleeping as well as I was before it started (April 6), but I can say that this is getting better. And to that end, I am going to go take a nap!
Sleep is a reconciling. Maybe that's it. And Rest. And good food and amourous activites. Can I say that here? Bliss keeps us young. That's what I think.

Wishing both you couples LOTS of those.
But as for the picture: You're talking about the one photographed from below?? Well, yeah, that ALWAYS happens when one is photographed from BELOW! The shadows all fall the wrong direction. Always make sure you are photographed from your own level or from above.

there are 4 states separating Florida and Illinois (5 if you clip the northeast corner of Alabama...though, really, why would you?...hahahaha, just kidding...love 'bama...but I digress).

...until it was used by certain pale citizens as a name for Native American Indians. I'll never forget the first time I met Jenna's family at a reunion held at a Montana fish camp. Her father and 5 brothers started talking about "dirty, lazy yahoos". Then one of them asks what part of Europe my ancestors were from. I thought I would have the privilege of watching them squirm when I said "England, Scotland and Shawnee country." Instead, they just said, "Good thing you're not full blood - we'd have to hang you."
I get on real well with her family. :disagree:
