Pressing Forward

To press forward we must first let go of all our past junk
that is in our lives. I said the word because someone
is still holding on to that junk that has built up slowly
in their lives over the years. That is why we haven't been
able to press forward. Yes we have become a [New Creature
In Christ]. But we are still holding on to things of the
past. And the enemy is a Liar!!! telling us all kinds of
bad stuff in our mind. That enemy's battlefield is the
mind. I will share a few things that are still keeping
you from pressing forward: (1) Unforgiveness is on our top
list. Someone said some hurtful words or hurtful things to
you, they may even have lied on you, and we can not press
forward. We holding on to it, we won't let go of it. Let it
go!!! we want God to forgive us. the bible says that we are
to forgive 70 x 7 that's 490 times in one day..Amen!!!
Think of how many times that we come to the Father asking
him for his forgiveness. Give it to Jesus. (2) An ex-
husband/ex-wife or the ex- boyfriend/ex-girlfriend that had been abusive to you,
it could be verbally or physically. Let go of him/her, Press
Forward. You're sleeping with the ex-husband/ex-wife, and he's/she's no
longer your husband/wife/partner or whatever you wish to call them, he/she belong now to someone else, and the
boyfriend/grilfriend, his/she is just that. Your boyfriend/girlfriend. You know it's
wrong but we don't want to let go of that which does not
care, or have the agape love toward us. (3) You now feel
ashamed, hurt, and wonder how could this all be happening
to me. But it is not just you, there are many men and
women who has spoken these same words.
Now what are we going to do about this? so we can Press
Forward. One you are going to let it go. You are going to
cry out to Jesus "I NEED YOUR HELP", I cannot do this by
myself. You are going to get with other Christian brothers
and sisters that have had junk in their lives before; that
can relate to you, how did they do it? And they can tell
you that it wasn't easy. But they have been there done
that. Now look where they are now. Amen!!! It is a
process...[God never said that it would be easy]
2 Chronicles 20:12 says "Our God, will you not judge them?
For we have no power to face this vast army that is
attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are
upon you. Let us not look to the mountains for help. Let us
look to the one that created those mountains." In other
word, lets look at our Creator, and not at those things
that was created by him. Amen!!!
Proverb 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all
your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths
straight."
