what prompted today's search online was an article/blog "We're all gay-- The only question is how much?", and it really bothered me to read the comments and realize just how much hatred there is and ignorance as well. i wanted to research and find supporting scripture. enter SOULFORCE, and i thank-you.
i am 30 yrs. young, i have a beautiful life partner(wife), and between the 2 of us have 3 children. we are members of franklin circle christian church, a disciples of christ church. we have an openly gay pastor who's life parner(husband) is a minister for a UCC church. i was raised baptist, and methodist...so you can imagine how difficult knowing who you ARE BORN to be, goes against the chilhood teachings were.
having been on the recieving end of many hate crimes, i truly believe many so-called christians are just lost sheep. our father is a loving GOD. he doesn't hate nor would he want his children to.
