Madeleine L'Engle. Is Phillip Pullman a Christian, 'cause he is amazing?
Frank Peretti (oh, I guess he's not too famous.)

Do you mean only fiction? or nonfiction too?

There was a good King Arthur series I read recently, but I can't remember the author's name. It was called "The Pendragon Cycle." It was pretty good.
