Hey everyone,

My name is Jacob and I just wanted to get the ball rolling here on the Forum. I am an ex-gay survivor who just attended the conference in Irvine, CA. It was amazing being able to meet and connect with so many others who have 'been there' as well, and who are on a similar journey as myself. I am excited about being active on here and elsewhere to help educate and bring about change to the narrow minded part of society.
As a side note, I didn't intend to post on Independence Day, but there seems to be a lot of relevance to it. I'm so glad that I have separated myself from a collective, black and white mindset culture and taken the necessary steps to become an Independent and free thinker, and I thank Soulforce for providing an outlet to do just that!

Happy Independence Day!!!

Jacob

Technically, I suppose, . . . but if Dobson put me on the ex-gay speaker payroll, he'd be mightly disappointed.

Hi Jacob. I have a long history in Saint Louis. I lived in Maryland Heights and also Richmond Heights near Wash U. I need to come back and visit some time...I hear lots has changed since I lived there. I'm in Chicago now.
