Hi all.
I just wanted to share with you that I have a new granddaughter. She was born on July 3rd, 7lbs and 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Her name is Savanna Jael. She is my sixth grandchild. Of course she is beautiful and of course I am biased. I have four grandsons and two granddaughters now and my youngest son and his wife are talking about having their second. I have really been blessed. I love the names of all my grandkids:
Seth William Alan-8 years old
Martin Dale-6 years old
Skyler Destin-4years old
McKayla Jael-2 years old
Corbyn Keith McClure-1 year old
Savanna Jael-3 days old

I am 52 and I still have plenty of energy to enjoy them all...LOL.

Wmanion,
Congratulations on your new granddaughter. I named my 2nd daughter Kyrie Jael. Never knew anyone else that named their daughter that, much less two kids in the same family. I saw where you had another 2 year old granddaughter with Jael as a middle name. Cool, cool! God Bless you and your family.

My daughter's middle name is also Jael...She is Tara Jael...And she is the one who gave both daughters the Jael middle name...I guess great minds think alike...LOL..I know your daughter is just as wondeful as mine.

Wmanion,
Well I guess so.... I had come across the name when a friend of mine named her firstborn daughter Jael and she pointed to the 5th chapter of Judges where Jael is featured. She told me it was Hebrew and actually pronounced "Yael", and I thought it was SO COOL!!! So when I got pregnant with my second daughter, I immediately wanted to name her Jael. But at the time I also had heard the song "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister and loved it, so I came up with Kyrie Jael. Kyrie means "God" and comes from the liturgy phrase, "Kyrie eleison" which means God is merciful.

Again congratulations and blessings on you and your family.

congrats on the new granddaughter! you have quite a few for such a young man! Corbyn: my youngest son's middle name is "Corban" from Mark 7:11 in which the word is defined as "A gift to God" or something that is reserved for God. my oldest son's middle name is Corby, again from that verse in Mark, and my daughter's name is Stormie Gail....so every time we sing the hymn "My Hope is Built" all eyes turn to my daughter on the second verse......In every high and stormy gale.....

I was thinking the same thing as Keltic: you're barely 50 and you have so many grandchildren!!

Congratulations! I enjoy seeing so many happy posts from you. :):):)

I had a little girl in one of my churches named Shelby. She was absoluttely convinced (at age 4) that one of the lines in the Gloria Patri was about her "As it was in the beginning, Is now and ever Shelby... world without end Amen Amen."
