Would someone please tell me the proper way to quote and multi-quote. I have tried but I get it wrong for some reason. I can usually figure things out but for the life of me...I cannot figure this one out....so please help...I an quotation challenged!

for each person/post you wish to quote, click on the multi-quote button; the bar on the right of the button will change color. on your last selection (person/post) you wish to quote, simply click the "quote" button. All of the selections will appear in your response. You may respond to each of the quotes but make sure you don't type within the quote brackets [ and ]

If you click on the "QUOTE" button you will start out with the previous message entirely in quotes. If you want to insert your comments in the midst of the original you just need to put " [/QUOTE] " at the end of the stuff before your insertion and " [QUOTE] " before the stuff that follows your insertion. This will create the break in the quoted text that you want.

If you want to quote something else just put the quote code above at the beginning and the end quote code above (the one with the forward slash ) at the end of it, that will create the quote box that you want.

or

you can highlight text that you want to quote and then hit the little button that looks like a cartoon word bubble and that will insert all of the html code for you.

does that help? I don't have a clue how to use the multiquote function. sorry.

Thank you so much...I will soon try it and see where I get...if I get stuck I will be back for more help....LOL
