Transformers

Transformers was very good. I'm not sure that I would like it. The director stayed true to the original Transformers and that was good.

It had good action and energy.

They did Optimus Prime very well and I'm glad that the same actor that did Optimus Prime's voice in the original cartoon did Optimus Prime's voice in this movie.

I wish that they could have done Megatron better. Megatron was a gun in the original cartoon. I understand why they couldn't do that but they should have made him a cannon or something big that shoots.

Soundwave should have been in this movie! He could be a radar or satellite.

Agreed. Megatron wasn't in the movie really until after an hour and then he transformed into basically nothing. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee were great.

I saw it at midnight on opening night, July 2nd. I thought overall it was good. It'd give it a B+. After seeing Spiderman 3 (as the editor of the Daily Bugle says, crap, crap, more crap) I was hoping Transformers was not going to stink. I used to love the 80's cartoon. Ah, mechanical beings that hid a secret. And then there was He-Man and his "fabulous secret powers."
