I'm watching court TV and on the show "Speeders" they stopped this poor guy who probably has dementia or something...he kept asking the cop "Is there a phone number on there?" She answered this four times. They had funny music playing in the background. It's NOT FUNNY. To me, this is just another way the media is inconsiderate of those who are disabled, old and frail. Losing your mind in your golden years and then slowly withering away in a strange nursing home if you lose the ability to take care of yourself is just NOT funny. Usually I find this show very funny, but I think I may be writing a letter to the show's producers. Also, I have a grandmother who we just put in a nursing home, who asks questions like that over and over, and who really wants to GO HOME. So, they shouldn't be laughing at things like that.
