I LOVE old roses. Is anyone else here a rose cultivar? Old roses just have such character in their diverse shapes and fantastic frangrance..although, I have some recent varieties that I really like as well, such as the climbers "Autumn Sunset" and "Berries and Cream." Two of my favorite old roses are "Zephrine Drephine" and "Sombriel." They both have a fantastic, fruity frangrance. I just wish I could get my roses to grow bigger! We are "endowed" with a lot of shade in our yard, so I have the roses in the few sunny spots. I would chop a tree down, but we used to have a gorgeous forest around our house that has been destroyed by development, so we can't bear to cut any of the remaining trees on our patch of property. The thing I love most about roses is their scent and Romantic association. Sitting there near the roses and smelling their fragrance is very comforting.
Also, does anyone here have experience in setting up websites? I'm having a hard time doing that for my group, SAFE (students and citizens against futile ethics). Comcast.net won't let me change the font or style on any of the letters...it's a pain. Anyone know how to fix this?
