He's gone... and I hate that! I had a hard time not breaking down crying when they left this afternoon.

They are in Portland OR now and for the next few days.... then on the 21st they go back to NY. He'll be home at christmas though!! Then hopefully they're decide on either Portland or Seattle for their next city to live in, Natalie (his girlfriend) is sick on NY... so there's hope!:love:

Parting is always painful, especially when you and your brother are obviously so close and supportive of each other, but without parting there could not be the joy of getting back together, and planning surprises for when that happens.

Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and sending great big hugs to you. I HATE goodbyes with my family, I almost always get choked up because it always seems to come so fast. I hope that they will settle out west so they can be much closer for you to see them more regularly.
