Friends,
I hear that Archbishop Peter Akinola of the Nigerian Anglican church is coming to the Chicago area to worship with some break-away Anglicans on September 23rd.
Akinola is the homophobe who has promoted legislation in Nigeria that provides for severe penalties for LGBT people who dare even to associate with one another.
Akinola is trying to spread his power and influence to this country where he has ordained a Bishop for break-away Anglicans. Seems like it would be fitting for there to be some challenge to this man when he comes here.
Any thoughts?
