What a blessing to have this site for gay Christians. I have been a Christian all my life and consider it a blessing to be gay. I currently reside in Pittsburgh with my partner and adoptive son. I serve as Treasurer of a United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh. Peace to you for all your efforts.

Hi Jeff,
From one Geoff (me) to another Jeff (you), welcome! Anybody named Jeff has got to be a great person! :D This is a really great site. There are a lot of us here from different backgrounds. I spent years in Pentecostal churches, and conservative ones, saying "no" to my gayness. Finally realized, like that REO Speedwagon song, that "I cant fight this feeling anymore, I've forgotten what I've started fightin' for." That song used to pierce my heart, years ago. Now I see it as one of my anthems, I guess (I just started coming out this summer and am still in the process). I am still a Christian and want to honor God with my life. If you think of it, please pray for me that I have wisdom and strength, as I continue this process and transition to my new life as a gay man. Thanks. May God bless you and your partner, and help us all through this journey.

I grew up just south east of Pittsburgh in Mckeesport/White Oak. Good memories. Still have some family near there, though I haven't lived there for many years.
