we attended the wedding of 2 women over the weekend. As a matter of fact, I played the music for their ceremony. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding on their llama farm. The vows were wonderful. The Brides were glowing. The friends that gathered to celebrate were a real testament to the couple's love. Plus, we made a lot of new friends.

I'll be getting the pics developed today, so If there's something I can post ;) I will.

oh, should I mention that we got back to the hotel room at 5am after the reception? NO? that reveals too much? OK, I'll just leave it at "we had a good time" and no one will think poorly of me for being out all night. :o

The Vocalist & me at the piano. I was sweating, and even got a little burn on the side of my head.

thanks png!

I really thought there'd be some more comments on this thread. The brides are beautiful, and it was such a meaningful ceremony. I was honored to be a part of it.

I have always been fascinated with (A) animals and (B) native american culture ... lately I've been learning about Native American animal totems. Here's the symbolism of a llama:

Llama: symbol of endurance, balanced action
The Llama has a high tolerance for persevering under a burden. Though they can become stubborn if treated poorly, they are hard working and dependable. Lessons to be learned from the llama are:

Endurance under difficult situations
Responsibility and hard work
Balanced action that comes from perseverance toward a worthy goal

An auspicious animal/site for the beginning of a life together!

Lovely pictures, Steve! Thanks for sharing them. I love the one with you and Scott...you handsome lugs.

:D:love:

5am, huh. Uff da!

But, then, I suppose it goes without saying that what happens on the llama farm, stays on the llama farm.

It is kinda funny how you and Gretchen were jr high sweethearts but both of you turned out to be gay...Maybe it was your teenage gaydar developing and knowing you could still be connected in this wonderful gay world of ours.

I hope she is happy and blessed. You are!!:D

Interesting that you bumped this up! I just checked my blog, and someone emailed it to a bunch of other people. I've had a lot of traffic on my blog today.

It is funny that we were sweethearts, but didn't know what to do. Although we've seen each other only a few times in the past year, there is a real connection, a shared history, and a shared future.
