I finally did a poem yall, it was for a grade but still, I poured my heart into it, so how is it? Its bout being gay and some of the struggles I went through, and I think alot of us go through as we grow up
I am one among many, many among one
Each one within me fighting with the other
This is right, no that's right, who cares, who knows
Muted turmoil, murmured battles, a whispered war
No one ever knew, no one ever suspected
I am an embarrassment to some, a demon to others, a supposed hellbound-abomination, a fear to mothers.
I am a testament to God's true love, to Jesus' sacrifice, a testament to myself
I am human, sees breathes, tastes, feels, hopes, hopes, dreams
I am alive, why? Why do I exist? There is a purpose for me, there is a happy ending for me as well.
I am taboo, awkwardness, they follow my mentioning, a cocktail of emotion sipped, chilled
I am looking for my happinness, where is it? Is it among the bodies in the crowd? Among the bodies in the heavens?
I am a feather shoved into a hurricane, swept here, swept there, knowing there's a floor, not knowing how to get there
I am still finding myself, searching, scouring my inner ruins
I am finding it hard to find me, hard to locate my peace, after all I am one among many, many among one
