The Buddy List. Paging Jamie. . . .

What's that all about? Ya know how you can type someone's screenname into a "buddy list"? Daniel and I were gabbing about it last night - we added each other's names - and as far as we can tell, all that happens with the buddy list is this:

You log on. If you have a buddy logged on at the same time, their name appears on the list with a + after it.

I was so excited to see what it was going to do! Then I looked at the screen where Daniel was logged in and this is what I saw: Daniel+

I laughed. Okay. . . . Extra Daniel. :p Daniel PLUS! :lol:

Is that ALL it does? And if so, what's the point?!!

Look at the top of this page ^ there is link labelled "calendar" click on it.

My guess, though I haven't played with the feature, is that it tells you when your buddy's online FOR THE PURPOSE OF: ( ::drumroll: )

If you want to PM them, you know that you'll be doing so pretty much in real time.

All I can see that the buddy List does is make it possible to block messages from all those who are NOT on the buddy list. Other than that it seems the little plus sign is about it.
