Hi all -- the link below is to an article about something I mentioned in my introduction. Does this not make you absolutely sick?

I saw that story on one of the news channels and I assumed they were protesting the funeral because they were against the war. I didn’t realize that they’re actually literally against defending the US for our alleged support of homosexuality. So for the past week or so I’ve been thinking the Phelps gang got at least one thing right, as perverted as their expression of it is.
Personally I’m against the “war” but at least the supporters, as delusional as I consider some of them to be sometimes, actually do think it has something to do with our protection.
It’ll be interesting to see where that lawsuit goes.

I agree, that the lawsuit will be interesting to hear about. Since I posted that article, I saw on a Maine news station that they actually didn't show up for a soldier's funeral they had threatened to protest at.
Last year, they were going to protest a high school graduation in my state (NH), because a group of students had been featured in a magazine for starting a gay-straight alliance at their school. They were no-shows for that one too. But, they probably think it's funny that all kinds of money ends up wasted by towns that beef up security in anticipation of their antics. It's really pathetic.
