Well, I've been traveling a lot for work, working hard at home, and to top it all off, I FINALLY met our very wonderful and famous celebrity (and GLBT activist) Zerbie, so what in the world am I going to do now???
I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND! My partner and I are headed for Anaheim on Oct 5th for the unnoffical gay days Anaheim (6th/7th). I haven't been in 30 years, it's been almost as long for her! We are taking her straight cousin (and hubby). It should be a blast! Won't see everything in both parks in 2 days, but we are going to give it a good try.
Anyone else going? Anyone else ever been?
Hmmm, guess I'll look forward to meeting Mickey, Minnie and the gang. But wondering if the Cinderella imposter will be there? (Cause, I'm the REAL Cinerella!)

That sounds great!
I've never been to Disneyland. Been to DisneyWORLD a bunch of times, most when I was about 5. But I went twice as an adult, with hubby and the 'rents who live in Florida. We've seen the Cirque show, whatever it's called that lives installed in the theater in Orlando at DWorld, twice now.
Have a blast!!!

Disneyland and CA Adventure were awesome!
Made the visit even better by seeing all the 'red shirts'! I would estimate 25 to 30% at the park were GLBT.
In our group of 4, we only heard 4 comments over the 2 days. One heard a fairly rude one. One I overheard was "Why do they all have to wear red shirts?!" The other was a youngster saying, "Look mommy, there are more people in red shirts." The mother replied "Shhhhhhh." I thought it was silly, he wasn't being mean just pleased that he identified more 'red shirts'! A hotel clerk (we asked for directions) saw my rainbow band and said "Hmm, so you're different huh? Hey that's ok, nothing wrong with that."
Anyway, it was a great time and it was nice to be OUT and PROUD at Disneyland!!!
