So I just wanted to start a thread to say, hey all, I have missed you and missed being around here. Life has had many exciting, busy, and transitional events in store for me in the last two or so months. Here is a synopsis:
My partner and I have fully reconciled. We spent weeks talking about it, weeks getting reconnected, and then I moved back into our home. It is changed in so many wonderous, positive ways, and the same in the ways that I had missed. Of course, our daughter is over the moon, as are all of us.
I started a new job early in August, that uses less of my crisis intervention clinical skills as a counselor, and am serving as more of an advocate on behalf of clients, as their insurance rep. for behavioral or mental health services. A different spin on things for me, but a badly needed change to avoid social service burnout. I like my new coworkers and it is a set schedule. No more late night on call or carrying a pager. I like that.
I have no at home internet service, and at work I am on the computer all day for my job, so I am not always able to check the website or post. So, until we get our act together to get set up at home, I will check in randomly when I can. I know that I have missed some great discussions and am trying to slowly read through some of what has gone on around here.
I am glad to be back!!!!! Happy Fall everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:love::love::love::lov e::love:
