Since December of 2005, I have been running the blog "Replace the lies with Truth". The focus of the blog is to find the misinformation about gays and lesbians and correct it using the principles and steps of non-violence.

I have come to realize lately, there is way more misinformation than I could possibly ever correct, but I realize from the visits to the site, I reach many people. Some of the topic I couldn't get to this past few weeks would include:

Gay adoption, and parenting. A new report put out this week again show no differences between gay parenting and straight parenting. Yet the far anti-gay right do all they can to say we make bad parents.

Non-violence and the ex-gay movement. How could we the 6 prinicples and the 6 steps to end the war between us. (I have written bit on this before but have been wanting to write more of an in depth, step by step)

The conservative christians are completely up in arms over a muslim who became a christian and will now be executed by the Islamic Government. Well, we should all be upset with that, but why were they not this vocal when it was young gay teens in Iran?

The point is I haven't been able to keep up with all this. Some of you here are so great writers, and really want to follow non-violence. Put those two ideas together and you would be perfect additional writers to my blog.

To be a writer, just go to the site and register. After you write your first article, it will be help for moderation. After you have a few cool ones, I will up your level so you can write without approval. All articles must follow the prinicples and steps of non-violence. If you would be interested in writing for the blog. The address is....

I'm interested in at least giving it a shot.

I'll try to write something in the next couple of days.

Joe,

I have written a lot. From school news papers to magazines, not to mention the numerous reports, essays and briefs I have had to write for school. But I am not sure if my perspective is what you are looking for.

Try me, you never know. I try to keep an open mind about most everything.
