From Schmitz Blitz (schmitzblitz.wordpress.com)

It seems now that since the nexus of Christianity is shifting from the global north to the south, we’re getting more church leaders saying outrageously extreme things. I’ve written before about the down right hateful comments (http://schmitzblitz.wordpress.com/2007/09/06/homosexuals-not-fit-to-live-says-anglican-bishop/#comments) made by Bishop Issaac Orama (which are under dispute (http://schmitzblitz.wordpress.com/2007/09/18/fair-and-balanced-news-in-nigeria/)).

Now there’s Archbishop Francisco Chimoio of Mozambique, who is now resorting to scare tactics in order to push the Catholic church’s position on abstinence only for AIDS prevention. He said (http://schmitzblitz.wordpress.com/2007/09/28/more-wisdom-from-african-bishops-condoms-cause-aids/):

I know of two countries in Europe who are making condoms with (the) virus on purpose, they want to finish with African people as part of their program to colonize the continent… People must choose what they want between death and I propose to them that (abstinence) is the best way to fight HIV/AIDS.

Apart from his paranoid delusion of a grand condom conspiracy, Bishop Chimoio’s words have potentially deadly consequences. Married women are one of the most at risk groups for contracting HIV in Africa because they already face pressure from their husbands not to use condoms, and now they have a ‘Man of God’ working against them as well.

Well, which countries are allegedly manufactoring these condoms? That is very disturbing, considering the beliefs already circulating about aids and how it is contracted. I heard from someone who went on a missionary trip a few years ago that there is a belief there that having sex with a virgin will rid men of the disease.

I heard much the same same story, and this belief was cited as one of the main reasons behind a serious increase in child rape. A very sad situation.

Scientists: AIDS Came to U.S. from Haiti in 1969
A genetic analysis of stored blood samples has led scientists to conclude that the AIDS Virus was carried to Haiti from Africa in 1966, and then to America in 1969, most likely by a single infected person.

University of Arizona evolutionary biologist Michael Worobey told Reuters: "That one infection would have become two, and then it doubles again and the two becomes four. So you have a period -- probably a fair number of years -- where you're dealing with probably fewer than a hundred people who are infected. And then, as with epidemic expansion, at some point the hundred becomes 200, you start getting into thousands, tens of thousands. And then quite rapidly you can be up into the hundreds of thousands of infections that were probably already there before AIDS was recognized in the early 1980s."

The scientists studied samples from five early Haitian immigrants and international data on 117 early AIDS patients to make their determination.

Reuters reports: "The researchers virtually ruled out the possibility that HIV had come directly to the United States from Africa, setting a 99.8 percent probability that Haiti was the steppingstone...Studies suggest the virus first entered the human population in about 1930 in central Africa, probably when people slaughtered infected chimpanzees for meat. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people and about 40 million others are infected with HIV."

I'd also heard awhile back that aids had come from haiti, well I guess so much for aids being God's judgment on homosexuality. If they found cases back in the sixties, it seems to me that somewhre all this info got swept under the rug and suddenly aids became a gay disease. Also with these conversion therapies, I guess they automatically say being gay is a death warrant, but there are many cases of women here getting infected. Funny how the media and the rr spread so much bull. Aids is spread through Africa ,Asia ,and other countries primarily through heterosexual sex.(Latex condoms would be a good idea but If you discourage condom use , you are basically giving people a death warrant)

Allan Cantwell,I've read about his theories in the past: Of course alot of times we call them conspiracy theories. But with the history of Eugenics In America, and experimentation done on our troops who were not aware of it at the time among other things you honestly have to wonder.:http://groups.google.com/group/misc.health.aids/browse_thread/thread/8dc276189872c27d

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2927316845773056069 I'm not what you call a major conspiracy buff, nor am I what you call paranoid. But I consider anything could be a possibility with our government , especially with it's track record and violation of human rights. .I know one thing after reading articles by Allan Cantwell, I definitely if I were a gay man would not sign up for "medical experiments" conducted by the government. People aren't guinea pigs. Especially if they are unwitting victims of these "experiment"s gone awry.
