Now for something thats actually important. I have a telephone interview tomorrow night. Could I have a little prayer support for that? :)
Well how did it go?This phone interview stuff seems like it would be tough.

It didn't happen yet... its tonight. But I had a TERRIBLE dream about it last night. YIKES! :eek: The real thing couldn't possibly go that badly.

Good! You've seen your worst (?) fears and survived. I have no doubt that you will knock their socks off tonight. Just be you - and pray they won't be overwhelmed by your presence and insight.

Yah, totally! :lol: Maybe nightmares keep us prepared. I've been having recurring ones about our vigil event next week and they are intensifying.

I'm actually afraid that I might be too conservative for them (theres a FIRST TIME for everything right?:lol:) They are a good match in terms of social and political viewpoints (left leaning, glbt affirming, social action oriented) but I fear I may be a little too "orthodox" a Christian for them. I can say the whole Apostle's creed without blushing or crossing my fingers. That might make them nervous!

Well, if you have a problem with them judging you as too conservative, just tell them your gay and your wonderful wife is lesbian, and your son is soon to be married...that'll shut them up.:D

The interview went REALLY well. In spite of the limitations of speaker phone technology, there was good emotional connection and my answers seemed to connect with them. I would be surprised if I don't get invited for a face to face interview. We'll see. Glad its over!

Umm.... I actually think you're kind of conservative, so I do see how that could happen. But I think that there would be a lot of churches out there that would be perfect for you! Good luck! Hope all goes well!!! :pray:

You're a treasure and I hope for the perfect fit for you...or at least a much improved fit, one where you can be fully your wonderful self without fear of being canned. You have way to much to offer and you need the environment in which to flourish.
