This my seem rude, hope it is not taken as such, but what is Pagan? Is it like Wicca? Just very curious and never have had the chance to ask anyone!
I am hesitant to name my beliefs as I have a current mish-mash of views that really does not fit into any one catagory, I usually settle for Buddist.
Maybe I'll start a thread!

Welcome Quartknee,
As the others have said, jump in and give us some of who you are. For instance, what do you mean by "free thinker?" I look forward to hearing more, stick around and invest yourself, you'll get some nice returns.

Rebekah,
"Pagan" usually refers to pre-christian earth spiritualities, often goddess centered. The religions of Rome and Greece, the north European spiritualities (Thor, Oden etc) the Celtic religions and spiritualities (the Druids). are all considered Pagan. Since Wicca is drawn mostly from North European roots it is considered "pagan". "Pagan" is USUALLY though not always considered a more respectful and less perjorative term than "heathen".
"Heathen" is usually used to refer to non-western spiritualities and carries the connotation of "barbarian" with it that "Pagan" doesn't.
"Infidel" is usually reserved for those whose spiritual roots are closer to Christianity. Jews, Christians, and Moslems tend to call each other "Infidel" when we're not feeling friendly towards one another.

Wiccan is a pagan religion, but not all pagans are wiccans.
The the wiccan rede is
An ye harm none, do what ye wilt.
Sounds kinda familiar:rolleyes:
Then there is the other meaning of pagan, meaning unorganized, many wiccans are solitaries,
though covens are eligible for tax exempt status, but many of us feel it is more restricting than helpful. And it is the 5th largest religion here in the U.S. Because mainly people come to this path from other religions, most of which were christian. Like myself.
