Twenty five years or a quarter of a century. It seems like a long time...doesn't it? It isn't so long when you reach forty. Anyway, enjoy your special day. Have a birthday cookie on me. :cookie::aparty:

Meghan,
HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY
Ah, I remember when I was twenty-five. I ... ah, hmmm ... I ah, crud ... was I twenty-five once? Okay, I know - that was during the 70's so, technically, I don't remember but I'm sure I loved that birthday.
I hope yours has been much more memorable - not to mention, legal.

Let me refresh your memory: tight polyester pants? Rayon shirt with giant collar? Shoes with three inch soles? a "fro" (because you had more hair on your head and less in your ears) ringing a bell?

Oh! Now I remember. And you were wearing that chatreuse velvet jumpsuit unzipped down to your ... well, let's just say, unzipped far too low. kept on telling people you were wearing mohair underwear. Yes, I remember it well, now. Then we danced to "Got to Boogy". My goodness, what a night.
If you have a night like this, Meghan, might I suggest shooting your friends and then having a lobotomy.
And if you find this entirely too offensive for words, just remember u-dog and I are older than dirt and can't help ourselves any more. See what you have to look forward to.

Anthony,
It's Greek and means "Know thyself!" doesn't it? It has something to do with Socrates, right?

Yes indeed. You can read about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Know_thyself
I actually stole it from scrupulous stoic, but decided to use the Greek instead of the transcription.

Wasn't somebody recently asking about whether our not some of our older members might be incontinent? Here's your answer.
