Just another politician sleeping with the enemy to get votes. He won't get mine, that is certain. If you run on the Republican ticket, all you're gonna do is piss off the Religious Right, which is the bread and butter of that party if you even hint that you are in any way supportive of gay rights. Giulani is clearly sleeping with the enemy and it really doesn't matter what he truly feels, he has sold his soul to politics and will say and do whatever it takes to get votes, plain and simple.

Around here, gay marriage and being gay is becoming less and less of big deal. The younger kids, who are not yet able to vote, are saying, "Who cares?" Whether or not Giulani gets the nomination or becomes president, times are changing and all he has to do is piss off the right people and he won't be in power long.

If all the gay people moved to Canada or out of the US, a lot of money, talent and intelligence would leave with them and to me, it would serve the US right for how they have treated us. It is shameful how the US treats gay military officers and soldiers. It is shameful how the US treats any gay, loving relationship. The US needs to be embarrassed at how they have treated minorities. Their track record is not very good. I am an American, but I am not a proud one. Our country treats gay people, black people, any other person of color or difference absolutely shamefully and for a nation that says it is "one nation under God", I beg to differ, and I want to say, "Oh, really? How?"

I agree. One nation my aunt fanny. But I'm not moving to Canada if I can help it. Although it would be nice to escape from the southern summers.

Yes, and someone who sales their soul to get elected doesn't have much character either.

Come to think of it gays and lesbians are also TAX PAYERS and contributing members of society. And they want us to sit quietly and just expected to be treated like second class citizens ?
