What's up, Progo?
This reminds me of a sign I saw in a tavern in England:
I have gone to find myself. If I should come back before this has been accomplished, please call me and keep me here until I return.

Hey, Andrew,
I have the hugest exam tomorrow and I cannot concentrate. It's like my brain melted or fell out....yikes...

I hope you're doing better today. That stuff is gonna pop right out like your brain is a textbook.

I'm a little late to try to help... so how do you think it went?

Thanks for asking, Jen. :)
I got a B, so that's pretty good, considering that my brain was in absentia. I'm kind of frustrated right now thought because I thought that our extra credit paper was due next week and it was actually due this week. the prof said that he is not going to give me credit even if I pass it in next week, but my plan is to finish it and turn it in anyway. No one else turned one in, either, or complained that they didn't know that Tuesday was the deadline, so it's not like he has 32 papers to grade or something. i understand the need to set academic standards, but in this case I feel that penalizing me or another student for misreading the syllabus is unfair, particularly in my case where disorganization comes with the territory. So, I'm going to send it, and if he doesn't accept it, then that's his business, but at least he knows that I did it, as I already had started it before Tuesday thinking that it was due next Tuesday.

A 'B' isn't bad at all, good job!
If I were you I'd do the same thing and turn it in anyway.. I know college is very different, but in my experience you'll still usually get SOME extra credit for it... or at least prove that you're hard working and it'll put you on the prof.'s good side, which is good for future grades.:)

You feel like you're somewhere between having dropped acid, and being abducted by space aliens.
The times spent studying too hard should be seperated by a good night's sleep, and a nice, hard bicycle ride.

you can laugh, that is a good sign. :) We had a meeting at work that lasted FOREVER! Finally my boss says "you should see your body language" One of us was hanging on the edge of her seat and I was just daydreaming. My Physical Therapist was laying his head in his hands. It was pretty sad. He designated all meetings to be no more than 30 minutes, due to our lack of ability to concentrate after that period of time.......He also told us he wished he had a camara so he could make it a Kodak moment.:lol::lol:

It could be worse... my teacher used to allow everyone to sleep through bible class, even if someone pointed out to him that someone else was sleeping, he'd just say oh well and go on.
But wow, 30 mintues is really all you can handle?!?! That's kind of sad
