I want to ask all of the parents that are here on the website:
What are some of your favorite, joyful things about being a parent?
Today is our daughter's tenth birthday, and I feel overcome with emotion and joy at the miracle of her presence in our lives. She is like an angel from above to us. The website for this woman from Canada sheds such a hateful light, I wanted to spread some goodness around here.
For me, some of the greatest joys of parenthood are watching her develop into a beautiful, confident, and energetic young woman; to see parts of both of us in her, for the good and the challenging; to know that I carried her around, and now, here she is, ten years later to the day; to know that she will be our mark that we leave on the world.
I love sledding with her in the backyard, going out for Chinese food, watching her win an award, and wiping away her tears.
I love it when she says she loves me......:love::love:
