When my straight friends do something nice, I've taken to saying "y'know, when the homogays eventually take over, and we start ruining all the heterosexual marriages, I'll make sure they leave yours alone".

That was great! it is comical how the religious right thinks that our main goal in life is to make someone else gay, as if we ourselves were made that way by another gay person bent on world conquest.

It's like my mom thinks that I "turned" lesbian. Yes that's right mom, I woke up one day, looked at my list of things to do:

1. Shower, brush teeth, blow-dry hair
2. Go to work
3. Get groceries
4. Become a lesbian

It is right along up there with groceries. Oh, and lest I forget

5. Whisper in every child's ear-"You're gonna be a flaming homo" or "Get your toolbelt out, dear, you are gonna be a bull dyke." (let's not forget that subliminal message, now)

Geesh, I wish I had time to have an agenda! Most gay people I know are real people, with real mortgages, real children, real spouses, and real world stuff they live with everyday. We just want equality. That's all.

Reminds me of a small poster i had years ago that was done in the style of a pulp fiction book cover. The title across the top was "The Homosexual Agenda" (in a lurid font of course) and the captions below images of a screaming woman and horrified man were:

Gay agenda. Sheesh. As if there's only one. The folks who use 'gay agenda' pejoratively have obviously never suffered through a lgbt meeting run by a full consensus process - now THAT'S TRUE HORROR. Frankly, it's amazing that we're able to agree on anything, including where we're going for coffee after the meeting. :D

Of course we get it done in half an hour, we are ever so much more fabulous than those hets! :lol::lol::lol: Actually, my wife told me that since I really didnt know what the gay agenda was, I was kicked out of the lesbian glee club. So glad that now I can be reinstated.
