What's with all the political correctness?

I was sending xmas cards to friends and family off Youtube.com(they now have video Xmas cards you can send and all of them say "Happy holidays." What is with that, after all when other religions celebrate their holidays they have no problem saying happy whatever.... I still say Merry Christmas.If someone chooses not to celebrate Christmas, or doesn't because of their religion, I wouldn't send them a card with Merry Christmas on it anyway.(out of respect for their own beliefs of course)

I don't understand it either, while I think 'Happy Holidays' is nice... I don't think people should have to think about saying 'Merry Christmas', just as people shouldn't have to think about saying 'Happy Hanukah' etc.:rolleyes:

I agree Jennifer, let people celebrate their holidays in their own way. It's why we have diversity.
