So I have to say something to someone! For Christmas today I got a chess board that plays you! It magnetically moves the pieces so you can play the computer in real time, it is so incredibly cool!

Cool! I got a bunch of gift certificates to my favorite places-like Sephora, Not Your Average Joe's, Panera.... I also got $, a book, a journal, some jewelry and some really nice PJs.

A metal stand with seven branches, one for each of the chakras with stained glass lotus blossom candle holders in each color of the chakras.
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. It is stunning when lit!

I was finally allowed to wear the black (or is it blue?) velvet blazer with embossed paisley that Scott bought me 2 weeks ago! I also got some slippers, dvd's ;), chocolate, and cash! more importantly, I got time with family and friends.... and now it's time for bed.

My wife and kids gave me a t-shirt from the UCTAA (Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic). It says "UCTAA: We Don't Know and We Don't Care".

I got a ski trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico, a new iPod, and a DVD. My wife and I have started going on trips at Christmas time since we decided that it would be simpler to do that instead of struggling every year with what to get each other. We decide on a trip to take during the break (since I am a teacher, we get 2 weeks off) and book it like in October or something.

We really stock up on things we want during the year anyway, so we decided that a trip is something we would both enjoy and it would be a time that we could just be together which in my mind would be my present. That is all I really want from my wife, is time with her...:)

Actually, I am still kind of celebrating it, in that we have traveled to Richmond VA to see my sister who is expecting in a few weeks. This is the first that I have seen her since the pregnancy and we are celebrating with her and her hubby. I had a blessed holiday with my partner and daughter, our first reunited, so it is just overwhelming. I got some new clothes, some beautiful jewelry, a watch, chocolate, and a new bag. I also get to go to FLA in two weeks to celebrate with my parents as well. When families live far from one another, we really need to be creative in how we can celebrate with one another. :love::love::love:

Ok, its actually January, but i didnt have time until now to get all the way through forums to get to this thread! :D

I got cool stuff this year. My little girl got me 5 different colors of nail polish, like lime green, black, purple etc. I got a shirt and toe socks from my teen and my son got me a My Chemical Romance t-shirt and brite blue nail polish. My wife got me a Lincyn Park shirt, a sweater, Vanilla Spice soaps(my favorite The Body Shop smell)about 20 different kinds of lip balm, 4 magnetic book marks that hold onto your page, A pedicure set with a buffer for callouses on your heels, a bath pillow and bamboo bath set that holds your wine glass, soap and book in the tub! I got really pampered.

I am also now really prune like from so many baths!:D

The big gift from my mom was that she took my brother, sister and I to Leavenworth for 2 days (overnight 1 night), and we got to play in the snow, stay in a great place, and just have an incredible time!

Bunch of bakeing stuff (apparently my grandma thinks I like to cook)...

...and I kinda ended up with a sweatshirt my brother was given because we couldn't fit everything into his bags. :)


Lots of neat stuff... but mostly just a really really good Christmas/ New Year etc.:aparty:

Some make-up that I wanted, a beautiful pair of CZ earrings, a soft and cozy throw for the couch, a couple books, a gift cert for sushi from my staff at work (they are awesome!), couple of games, a trip to Hawaii for me and my partner (from myself), and best of all, 20 minutes swimming with a sea turtle a day early, compliments of mother nature.
