what would your animal companion be?

I would have liked to have a companion that followed me around and that I could talk to. It was a neat concept. I especially thought it was cool that they did change shapes.(as children) You could also tell what type of person they were by seeing their Daemons. The bad people had ones that were associated with bad things, like a snake for one and an insect for another. Of course the heroes had powerful ones, like Daniel Craig(new 007) had a large white tiger or leopard(i dont remember which) that would indicate a very powerful individual.


I would of course want an Otter prerhaps the most playful animal I Know!

I am a Crow whose name is Rasthmus. I had so much fun on that site that I had my teen do it also, she is a mouse. She said she would rather be a crow, because they are cool. I also just had my son take it and he is an osprey, it does seem to match him.

People who have GIBBONS for their daemons should not make fun of others. In the movie, the evil villainous b**** had a golden Gibbon as her daemon.

If I remember rightly she had a Golden Monkey. At least that is what the site says, and I don't remember what the book said. And I found this little gem:
Gibbon is any of several small arboreal apes of the genus Hylobates of southeast Asia and the East Indies, having a slender body, long arms, and no tail.

Monkey is any of various long-tailed, medium-sized members of the order Primates, including the macaques, baboons, guenons, capuchins, marmosets, and tamarins and excluding the anthropoid apes and the prosimians.

And this one (a little simpler):

A gibbon is not a monkey, it is an ape.

Now how is that one for you. But I agree we Gibbon-Daemon'd should respect the rest of you, lesser daemon'd.;)

Not that I know of. I think they automatically assign one of the opposite sex.
