Hey everyone. As a longtime friend and supporter of Soulforce, I've decided it's time to give myself and Good As You a presence here on the forums. For those who don't know about Good As You (www.goodasyou.org), here is some brief info:
About G-A-Y: Using humor and irreverence rather than anger and protests, Good As You represents a new generation of gay activism. Now is the time for intelligent, progressive-minded individuals to step up and fight for the common rights of which they might be denied. We're here to rally the troops.
Our tone is light, but our message is firm: We will not sit back and be led to a society that favors discrimination over diversity.

I also wanted to direct readers of this forum to a post that I've written on the upcoming "American Family Outing" event. The post has struck a nerve with some on the anti-gay side of the fence, and they are making comments that show why, exactly, we NEED dialogue (a concept to which they are quite hostile):

If anyone wants to do defend SF, by all means do!!
I also promise to be an active participant here on the forums, as we all work together to end this unnecessary "culture war" that is tearing apart so many lives.
